Fruit and vegetable packers, Bombala NSW

IGA Bombala is looking for fruit and vegetable packers to work full-time on a permanent basis in the produce department.

What you will do:

• Prepare and pack fresh produce into bags, punnets, trays and cartons.
• Inspect and sort fruit and vegetables, removing any that are damaged.
• Weigh, measure and count produce to meet pack requirements.
• Wrap, seal and label packs accurately.
• Place finished packs onto trays or racks ready for display.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean.
• Record pack numbers, weights, times and dates.

What we need:

• At least one year of full-time work experience in fruit and vegetable packing or similar commercial packing work.
• Good attention to detail with quality, weights and labels.
• Ability to do repetitive work and lift regularly and safely.
• Availability for early starts and weekend work on a seven-day roster.
• AQF Certificate I or completion of compulsory secondary education.
