PG & AC Parsons farm in Nirranda is hiring for several permanent dairy farm roles.

Positions available:

• Dairy Farmers
• Animal Husbandry Technicians
• Senior Dairy Farm Operators
• Dairy Cattle Farm Operators

What you need:

Each role has different qualification requirements. Dairy Farmers need a Bachelor’s Degree or 3 years relevant experience. Animal Husbandry Technicians need a Diploma or 3 years experience. Senior and standard Dairy Cattle Farm Operators need AQF certificates and work experience ranging from 1 to 3 years.

All applicants must be hardworking, resourceful, trustworthy and loyal. You need experience in dairy farming, knowledge of farming techniques, and the ability to work as part of a team.

What you will do:

Duties vary by role but include managing dairy cattle, heifers and calves, operating milking equipment, managing feed and pastures, handling animal health and welfare, artificial insemination, record keeping, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Pay:

$70,000 – $90,000 plus superannuation, depending on skills and experience.
