Huffadine Family Trust is hiring for several dairy farm roles in Regional Victoria. Positions available include Dairy Farmers, Animal Husbandry Technicians, Senior Dairy Cattle Farm Operators, and Dairy Cattle Farm Operators.
What you will do:
- Manage dairy cattle, heifers, dry cows and calves
- Operate milking plant and equipment
- Manage milk harvesting, milk quality and staff rosters
- Coordinate reproductive programs and artificial insemination
- Plan pastures and crops for livestock production
- Supervise animal health programs and ensure animal welfare
- Maintain farm equipment and infrastructure
- Keep records and meet quality assurance requirements
What you need:
Requirements vary by role. Dairy Farmers need a Bachelor’s Degree or 3 years relevant experience. Animal Husbandry Technicians need a Diploma or 3 years experience. Farm Operators need AQF Certificate II or III or 1 year full-time recent experience. All applicants must be hardworking, resourceful, trustworthy and have passion for dairy farming.
Pay is $71,481 to $95,000 plus superannuation, depending on skills and experience.
