Macalister Milk Pty Ltd is hiring for several permanent dairy farm roles in regional Victoria.

Positions available:

• Dairy Farmers
• Animal Husbandry Technicians
• Senior Dairy Cattle Farm Operators
• Dairy Cattle Farm Operators

What you need:

Experience and qualifications vary by role. Dairy Farmers need a Bachelor’s Degree or 3 years’ experience. Animal Husbandry Technicians need a Diploma or 3 years’ experience. Senior and standard Farm Operators need AQF Certificate III or II respectively, plus relevant work experience.

All applicants must be hardworking, resourceful, trustworthy and loyal. You need passion for dairy farming, knowledge of farming techniques, and the ability to work as part of a team.

The work:

Duties include managing dairy cattle, heifers and calves, milking operations, animal health programs, reproductive management including artificial insemination, pasture and feed planning, and equipment operation. You will ensure compliance with animal welfare standards and workplace safety legislation.

Pay:

$70,000 to $90,000 plus superannuation, depending on skills and experience.
