Boshier Farm Pty Ltd is hiring for several dairy farm roles in regional Victoria. The positions are permanent and full-time.

What you will do:

Dairy Farmers manage all dairy cattle, heifers, dry cows and calves. You will supervise animal husbandry and feed management, manage plant equipment and infrastructure, achieve budgeted targets, manage milk harvesting and quality, and ensure compliance with workplace and safety laws.

Animal Husbandry Technicians assist with breeding and raising livestock. You will manage nutrients, arrange vaccines and supplements, organize mating programs, keep treatment records, and help with artificial insemination.

Senior Dairy Cattle Farm Operators plan milk production processes, coordinate reproductive programs, implement calving procedures, manage pastures and crops, and supervise animal health programs.

Dairy Cattle Farm Operators operate milking plant and equipment, read and record instrument information, undertake multiple farm functions, and assist with machine repair and artificial insemination.

What you need:

Dairy Farmers need a Bachelor’s Degree or 3 years relevant experience. Animal Husbandry Technicians need a Diploma or 3 years experience. Senior Operators need AQF Certificate III and 1 year full-time recent experience. Operators need AQF Certificate II or III or 1 year full-time experience.

All applicants must be hardworking, resourceful, trustworthy and loyal. You need passion for dairy, previous similar experience, knowledge of farming techniques, and ability to work as part of a team.

Pay is $71,481 to $95,000 plus superannuation, depending on skills and experience.
