PLL Contractors is hiring 450 horticultural labourers for fruit and nut plantations across the Riverland District and surrounds of South Australia.

The work

• Harvesting, pruning, thinning, packing and general crop management
• Outdoors, physically demanding
• Hours vary with harvest needs and weather. Work is 5-7 days per week depending on tasks
• Available for up to 9 months from August 2026. You must be available for the whole 9 months

What we need

• Physically fit and self-motivated
• Flexible with start times, which vary by weather
• Experience in citrus, almond and stonefruit picking, pruning, thinning, packing and crop management is preferred but not essential. Training can be provided

Pay and conditions

• Paid at Horticultural Award 2010 rates, either hourly or piece rate
• Accommodation and transport may be provided at cost
