Family farm near Peats Ridge on the Central Coast, one hour north of Sydney, is looking for one hard-working person to help with avocado picking and pruning for about two months from mid-August.
The work:
- Monday to Friday, around 8 hours a day (weather dependent)
- Avocado picking and pruning
- Some work at heights, up to 8 metres
- You may use chainsaws, tractors, and cherry pickers
What you need:
- Good physical fitness and strong work ethic
- Comfortable working at heights
- Manual driver’s license (required for operating machinery)
- Able to learn to use chainsaws, tractors, and cherry pickers
What they offer:
- Award hourly pay (no piece rates)
- Free shared accommodation on-site with kitchen, hot shower, and all amenities
