Bruny Island Cheese is hiring for Dairy Farm Manager near Glen Huon TAS. This is a part time farm work listing, with pay listed as $80,000 – $95,000 per year.

We’re looking for a hands-on, experienced Dairy Farm Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our beautiful property in the Huon Valley.

• You’ll be leading a herd of 80 cows milked through a 10-unit Herringbone parlour, supported by a small team, and working closely with our General Manager and farm consultant.
• Oversee and coordinate all farm activities – feeding, milk, herd health, reproduction, and grazing management.
• Supervise basic plant and machinery maintenance and assist with capital projects.
• Monitor and improve performance using production records and farm management software (Easy Dairy).
• Minimum 2 years’ dairy farm management experience.
• Solid technical knowledge of pasture-based dairy systems, animal husbandry, and Artificial Insemination.
