• Opportunity to shape a premium, farm-to-chef supply operations
• Creative involvement in developing high-end ingredients and unique varieties
• • Plan and execute seasonal planting — propagation through to harvest
• • Monitor crop health; manage pests, weeds and disease using natural methods
• • Harvest, wash and pack produce for restaurant orders, to a high presentation standard
• • Some experience growing vegetables, or a horticulture background — but attitude and reliability matter more than years
• • Self-motivated and reliable, able to work independently
• • Current driver’s licence and have access to a reliable car; comfortable operating garden tools and basic machinery
• • Physically fit and comfortable with manual work in all weather
• • A horticultural qualification is preferred but not essential for candidates with relevant experience.
