Marland Mushrooms is a leading mushroom producer in Stapylton, QLD, and they’re after a Growing Assistant to join the Growing Department.

You’ll work alongside the Head Grower, Harvest Supervisors and the team across all stages of mushroom growing, from filling through to harvest. The growing rooms are temperature-controlled, so conditions are managed year-round. It suits someone who likes practical, physical work and pays close attention to detail.

**What you’ll do:**

– Help the Head Grower with daily growing and room inspections
– Monitor temperature, humidity and airflow
– Record and report data to support crop monitoring
– Help set up and turn around growing rooms between crops
– Work with the Production team during compost filling
– Keep work areas clean and up to food safety standards

**What you’ll need:**

– An interest in horticulture, food production or mushroom growing
– Certificate in Horticulture (preferred)
– Some horticulture, agriculture or food manufacturing experience
– Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
– Reliable, punctual and a team player
– Physically fit and happy in indoor, temperature-controlled rooms
– Australian work authorisation
