Horticulturist

About this job

The City of Perth is after a Horticulturist to help care for the capital’s parks and gardens. You’ll provide horticultural know-how and maintain the City’s hard and soft assets, including turf, garden beds, trees, playgrounds, and infrastructure.

Reporting to the Parks Team Leader, you’ll keep operations running smoothly.

**The details**
– Full-time, permanent, 9-day fortnights
– Based at Osborne Park, WA
– $88,995 per year plus super ($45.04 per hour)

**What you’ll do**
– Coordinate and support daily grounds maintenance across parks, streetscapes, and public spaces
– Lead and work with team members and contractors to deliver quality results
– Spot and monitor maintenance needs to keep City assets well presented
– Deliver safe, customer-focused work while supporting teamwork and training
