Grounds and Gardens Team Member

About this job

CBC Facilities Maintenance is after an experienced Grounds and Gardens Team Member to join our team in the Illawarra region. You’ll help keep well-presented outdoor spaces looking sharp across multiple client sites.

**About the role:**
– Maintain and upkeep gardens, lawns and outdoor areas
– Planting, pruning and weeding to keep landscapes looking their best
– Operate and maintain gardening equipment and tools safely
– Help install new plants, trees and landscaping features
– Monitor and report on plant and grounds health
– Work with the team to keep things running smoothly
– Follow health and safety rules to keep the site safe

**About you:**
– Energetic, proactive team player
– Previous grounds maintenance or gardening experience preferred
– Basic knowledge of horticulture and landscaping
– Can operate gardening tools and machinery safely
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, including WHS
– Good physical fitness and happy working outdoors in all weather
– Good communication and teamwork
– WHS/OHS Induction Card
– Current driver’s licence
– Current National Police Check (or willing to get one)
– First Aid Certificate, Horticulture Licence and MR Licence are all desirable
