About this job

At Marland Mushrooms we grow quality mushrooms for major supermarkets from our facility in Stapylton, on the Brisbane to Gold Coast corridor. We work as a team to keep our quality standards high in a safe, compliant environment.

We’re after motivated people for casual roles across morning and afternoon shifts. Morning shifts usually start between 4:30 and 6:00am, afternoons around noon to 3:00pm. Immediate start where possible.

You’ll work in a small group supporting our harvest teams in the growing sheds.

**What you’ll do:**
– Move boxes of varying weights regularly (good physical fitness needed)
– Sort mushrooms by size, scan and weigh, and place in the cold room
– Assemble boxes to set dimensions and quality standards
– Inspect boxes for defects or weaknesses
– Make sure all boxes meet quality standards

**What we need:**
– Flexibility to work morning and afternoon shifts during the week, plus one day each weekend
– A current forklift licence is highly regarded but not essential

Full training is provided in a supportive environment, along with weekly pay.

If you’re ready to join us, apply now through Farmwork.com.au with a cover letter and resume.
