We’re looking for Farm Hands to join our teams at Adare Farm in Gatton, QLD 4343. You’ll work alongside managers on day-to-day poultry farm work, with room to move into future management roles.

**What you’ll be doing:**
– Working as part of a team and following direction from the farm manager and assistant manager
– Working with livestock daily and keeping bird health and wellbeing excellent
– Daily shed checks, record keeping and grounds maintenance
– Completing minor repairs and reporting repairs needed
– Following company policies and biosecurity measures at all times

**What we’re after:**
– Poultry farming experience isn’t essential but is highly regarded
– A proactive, detail-focused, hands-on approach
– High regard for safety, health, environment and quality standards
– Physical fitness to do the work, with a pre-employment functional assessment (including drug and alcohol testing)
– The right to work in Australia

**Important:** Due to strict quarantine rules, we can’t accept applications from anyone who regularly comes into contact with pigs or birds (including at home), or who lives with someone working in other poultry or pig operations.
