MEGT is running a Horticulture Traineeship with one of its clients in Mundijong, WA, working with a local council looking after parks, reserves and public spaces. Full time, 18 months, paying $11.96 to $19.51 an hour with weekly pay. You’ll earn a nationally recognised Certificate III in Horticulture.

This suits a motivated, reliable person wanting to start a career in horticulture. You’ll learn practical skills on the job.

**What you’ll be doing**
– Maintaining and improving council parks, reserves and public spaces through gardening, turf care and grounds work
– Operating horticultural tools and machinery safely: mowers, trimmers and spray equipment
– Doing your training while contributing to the team
– Following safe work practices and council values

**What you’ll need**
– Reliable and motivated, able to work solo or in a team
– Basic literacy, numeracy and communication skills
– A current driver’s licence (White Card may be required)
– Happy to work outdoors and follow WHS requirements
