APG Workforce is after multiple farm hands at their Gunnedah and Manilla sites in North West NSW, supporting a leading poultry producer. Casual, $30.75 an hour, weekly pay. They’re taking both experienced hands and entry-level workers, plus team leaders and supervisors.

Whether you’re an experienced supervisor ready for the next step, or just starting out and keen to learn the lot, they want to hear from you. There are pathways into ongoing, permanent roles.

**What you’ll be doing**
– Walking sheds and caring for chickens
– Maintenance and inventory
– Cleaning sheds to strict biosecurity standards
– Collecting, cleaning and grading eggs
– Helping with weighing, vaccinations and flock health checks
– Some building and lifting of poultry products
– Handling birds safely and humanely
– Managing staff (for the right roles)

**What you’ll need**
– Good communicator and team builder
– Physically fit
– Full work rights in Australia
– Own reliable transport and a current driver’s licence (both essential)
– Clear, understandable spoken English
– You can’t own pigs or birds at home

Full on-the-job training and support provided. You’ll need to be in Tamworth to apply and attend an in-person interview at the local branch.
