Our client is a progressive, corporate owned broadacre cropping farm in the highly productive Riverina region about 45 minutes South-West from Wagga.
They are seeking a motivated and reliable Farm Hand to join the permanent team of 6. This is a great opportunity for someone with 2–3 years of practical cropping experience looking to further develop their skills on a large-scale, modern operation.
About the Role
You will work across all aspects of our cropping program, including:
Operating and maintaining a range of modern farm machinery (tractors, headers, sprayers, seeders, etc.)
Seeding, spraying, fertiliser application and harvesting activities
Grain handling, storage and cartage
General farm maintenance, irrigation infrastructure (where applicable), and workshop duties
GPS/autosteer precision agriculture systems
Assisting with paddock preparation, weed control, and crop monitoring
Seasonal hours will apply — long days during peak periods (seeding and harvest) are expected, with quieter periods in between.About
About You
2–3 years practical experience in broadacre cropping (essential)
Competent in operating and maintaining farm machinery
Hold a valid Australian driver’s licence (HR licence advantageous)
Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Reliable, safety-conscious, and a team player with a strong work ethic
Experience with precision agriculture / GPS systems is highly regarded
Chemical accreditation (Chemcert) or willingness to obtain it is preferred
